Two Businesses, One Website: TechFoundry’s 96/100 Performance Case Study

TechFoundry needed one website to serve two different buying journeys: custom software and AI development, and Aerless telecom and data center equipment. The challenge was to make those paths clear while keeping the site fast, usable on mobile and consistent across service pages, product pages and editorial content.
This is a case study of our own website, designed and developed by TechFoundry. The results below describe a homepage test observed on 2 October 2026. They are a snapshot of the current site, not a measured comparison with an earlier version.
The challenge: two audiences, one coherent experience
A software buyer arrives with a workflow, an application idea or an operational problem. A hardware buyer may already know the exact transceiver, cable or power component they need. We needed to make both journeys easy to follow without asking visitors to decode a long list of unrelated capabilities.
What we built and refined
We built a WordPress website with distinct AI and Software and Aerless sections, connected through the TechFoundry parent site. Service pages explain the problem, delivery approach and next step. Hardware pages lead with part numbers and specifications, with a direct route to request a quote.
- Clear navigation between the two businesses and their services or products.
- Responsive layouts with consistent booking and project enquiry actions.
- Product specifications reflected in structured metadata, including Taiwan manufacturing origin for our optics and cable range.
- Page specific sharing images for articles and products, instead of a generic company cover.
- Compact editorial cards that preserve the established layout across screen sizes.
The measured result

- Performance: 26/30
- Basic SEO checks: 30/30
- Mobile checks: 30/30
- Security checks: 10/10

Checks beyond the score
We checked all four software service pages at 1440, 768, 390 and 320 pixels. The hero and closing calls to action aligned correctly, and the tested pages had no horizontal overflow. A separate audit of 126 public pages found no links or metadata pointing to the staging site.
These checks matter because an overall score can miss the details that affect a real visitor: a booking button that sits out of alignment, a product link that leads to staging, or a sharing preview that uses the wrong image.
What the results do and do not establish
The SEO score confirms the grader’s basic checks, including permission to index and a meta description. It does not confirm search rankings, actual index inclusion or recommendations by AI tools. The security score covers HTTPS and the tool’s JavaScript library checks; it is not a comprehensive security audit. We are not claiming a measured increase in traffic, enquiries or conversion rate.
What comes next
The report identified two remaining opportunities: responsive image sizing and CSS minification. Our next performance pass will focus on serving appropriately sized images and compact production stylesheets while preserving the approved design, image proportions and card layouts. Those improvements are planned, not included in the results reported here.

A website built around how people buy
The result is a shared company website with distinct paths for software projects and equipment procurement, supported by a strong measured homepage score and repeatable checks. The ongoing work is to keep the experience clear as the content and catalog grow.
